In this edition, there are three papers, the first article is the second in a trilogy of papers from AL CTAS which describes the development of welding consumables for 9%Cr, 92 grade creep resistant steel.

The second paper concerns welding consumable developments for high yield strength steels, mainly for applications in the oil and gas industry.

The final paper in this issue describes leading edge process development for increasing welding productivity in the automotive industry when welding higher strength steels (laser and hybrid welding processes).
